Rosie Crawford, 84, of Ozark, formerly of Brundidge, died Thursday, March 2, 2000 at Oakview Manor Health Care Center in Ozark following a lengthy illness.

The graveside service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 4 at Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Richards presiding, and Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Bennie Daniel

Bennie Daniel, 71, of Elba, died Friday, March 3, 2000 at Oakview Manor Health Care Center in Ozark, following a lengthy illness.

Services will be announced later by Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Curry Johnson

Curry Johnson, 88, of Goshen, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2000 At Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Jackson and Elder J.P. Morgan presiding and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include a son, Curry Anthony Johnson of Goshen; four daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Ralph Richburg of Troy, June and Charles L. Wilson of Goshen, Julane and Johnny Key of Montevallo, and Lynn and Chris Monaco of Weatherford, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Hamil and Louise Johnson of Troy; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth R. Johnson of Troy.

He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Beard Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hopewell Cemetary Fund or Henderson Baptist Church building fund.

Darby Ray Pettus

Darby Ray Pettus, 29, a resident of Goshen died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000.

His funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 at the Turner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Mount presiding. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery.

Survivors include mother, Annette Mount of Glenwood; father, Ray Pettus of Goshen; grandmother, Cleatha Mae Byrd of Luverne; sisters, Barbara Raynette Farmer; Linda Sue Pettus; Kathy Pettus; one niece and four nephews.

Pallbearers were Craig Luster, Britt Arthur, Wade Sanders, Joey Knox, Greg Jones and Bruce Golden.
