Eloise Hester, 74, of Rt. 3 Box 47 on Needmore Road in Troy died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Les Lee presiding. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Troy.

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Debby and Ricky Penn of Troy; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Sara Hester of Banks, Ricky and Kim Hester of Troy; grandchildren, Bo Penn, Christy Hester, Bubba Hester, Stevie Hester, Courtney Hester; great grandchildren, Breanna Penn, Clayton Hester, Kassidy Davis, and Mathew Hester.

Pallbearers will be Alphus Adams, Bubba Hester, Stevie Hester, A. C. Mehaffey, Jimmy Oliver, and Bo Penn.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 21 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Frankie Lamar Bailey, Jr.

Frankie Lamar Bailey, Jr., 33, of Bullock County, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Survivors include, parents, Frankie and Joann Bailey of Mexico Beach, Fla.; sister, Donna (Eddie) Paramore, of Goshen; brother, Dwayne Bailey of Mexico Beach, Fla.; nieces, Jessica and Jennifer Paramore; grandfather, Gene (Jo) Bailey, of Shelby County; great-grandmother, Charlene Davis of Helena; aunt, Amalio (Robert) Auld of Inverness, Fla.; cousins, Kevin Auld and Michael Auld, Fla., John and Ben Auld of Massachusetts.

Daniel J. Berry

Daniel J. Berry, 63, of Rt. 1 Box 37 in Brundidge died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 at his home.

His funeral was graveside at 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19 at Lakeview Cemetery with minister Randall Myers presiding. Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge handled arrangements.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Grover Berry.

Survivors include wife, Marjorie A. Berry of Brundidge; daughter, Sheila (Donnie) Campbell of Brundidge; son, Michael Daniel Berry of Brundidge; grandson, Chris Berry; sister, Maunell (Leonard) Shiver of Phenix City; mother, Louise W. Shiver of Brundidge; nieces, Dana (Josh) Ainsworth, Amber (Henry) Shellman; great-niece, Courtney Ainsworth; and great-nephew, Hunter Ainsworth.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Shiver, Wayne Thrash, Chris Berry, Donnie Campbell, Jody Senn and Michael Campbell.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Frances S. Perkins

Frances S. Perkins, 73, of Skipperville and formerly of Troy, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 at Dale Medical Center.

Survivors include children, Judy A. Tarter of Blane, Wash., Timothy R. Griffin of Mobile, Frazier P. Griffin of Pensacola; and several grandchildren.

Jewell Carter Owens

Jewell Carter Owens, 86, of 4401 Narrowlane Road in Montgomery died Tuesday, Feb. 22 in Montgomery.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, at Luverne Church of Christ with the Ministers Charles Sipper and Kenneth Payne presiding. Burial will follow at Luverne City Cemetery in Luverne.

Survivors include, husband, Albert Griel Owens of Montgomery, daughters, Charlotte (Gene) Thompson of Montgomery; Carolyn (Danny) Hart, of Miss.; sons, Ben Carter of Montgomery; Daniel G. Owens of Luverne; Jesse (Sharon) Owens of Montgomery; sisters, Fleta Henry of Tenn.; Fannie Kate Holiday of Fla., Lucille Kennedy of Luverne; brothers, Carroll Carter of Fla.; Murry Carter of Glennwood; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Charles David and Katherine Carter; sister, Grace Carter; and brother, David Ray Carter.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to service

Mollie T. Crawford

Mollie T. Crawford, 82, of Wahneta, Fla. died Thursday, Feb. 17 at Mariner of Winter Haven.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19, at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.

Survivors include son, Rex Crawford of Wahneta, Fla.; brother, Hubert Dewey Tillery of Troy; sisters, Vera Crawford of Montgomery, Etha Head of Troy; and two grandchildren.

She was a native of Troy, who moved to Wahneta, Fla., from Montgomery in 1954. She was a textile mill worker and also worked for Snively Citrus. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Frank Crawford and a son, Harold Crawford.

James Franklin Sanders

James Franklin Sanders, 28, of Centerville, Tenn. died Feb. 21, 2000 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

His funeral will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 at McDonald Funeral Home with John Thomas presiding. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Centerville.

Survivors include wife, Rebecca Sanders of Centerville, Tenn.; father, Buster Searcy of Dickson, Tenn.; mother, Betty Searcy of Dickson, Tenn.; daughter, Betty Sanders of Centerville, Tenn.; brothers, John Sanders of Centerville, Tenn., Josh Searcy and Dewayne Searcy both of Dickson, Tenn.

He was born on April 26, 1971 in Orlando, Fla. He was a laborer, tree trimming.

Visitation began at 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 22.
