Celia Jane Allums

Celia Jane Allums, 89, of Troy, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16 at Mt. Olive #1 Missionary Baptist of Saco with the Pastor W. M. Daniels presiding. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to service.

Survivors include, sister, Lula Mae Scaife of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; nieces, Martha Brooks, Annie McClendon and Jessie Mae Lane all of Brundidge; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Floralbearers will be friends of the family.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1910 in Saco to the late Tobe and Lyndie Jane Hardrick Hough. She was a part of Mt. Olive #1 Missionary Baptist Church of Saco.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.

Rob Dickey

Rob Dickey, 96, of 18065 Highway 125 in Brundidge, died at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m., Feb. 17 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. Raymond Holt and J. C. Turner presiding. Burial will follow at Hamilton Church of Christ in Brundidge.

Survivors include, wife, Tearsie Dickey of Brundidge; daughter and son-in-law, Annie Merle and Sam Chalker of Dothan; sons and daughters-in-law, E. L. (Buck) and Marie Dickey of New Hope Community; Huey and Rebecca Dickey of Brundidge; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other close relatives.

He and his wife had been married 73 years.

Visitation will be at his home after 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16 until the time of service.

Kate Hynes Martin

Kate Hynes Martin, 79, of India Hook Road in Rock Hill, S.C., died, Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000 at Sonshine Village in Louisville, Ky.

Her funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Chapel of Greene Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Shytle presiding.

Survivors include sons, James Willshire Martin of Peach Tree City, Ga., Bob Barrett Martin of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willshire Hynes and Anna McComb Hynes and her husband, Ivan Hill Martin, Jr.

The family received friends following the service.
