Willie Earle Turk Sawyer, 81, of Frisco City died Jan. 26, 2000 at Englewood Health Care Center.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m., Jan. 28 at Frisco City United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ron Lee and Doug Darby presiding. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Frisco City. Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville is handling arrangements.

Survivors include, husband, Hart Sawyer of Frisco City; son, Guy Sawyer of Brewton; daughter, Margaret Ross of Brundidge; brothers, Thomas "Son" Turk of Semirah Springs; Fred Turk of Megargel; Baker "Buddy" Turk of Semirah Springs; sisters, Willine Turk Lambert of Crestview, Fla; Polly Turk Odom of Uriah; Jo Turk Blanton of Excel; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Monroe County. She was married to her husband for 58 years. She retired from Monsanto where she worked as a Draw Twist Operator. She was a member of Mineola First United Methodist Church.
