Evie Gibson, 99, Springhill died Jan. 19, 2000, at Edge Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 at Elam Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Hill with the Rev. J. G. Chatmon presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include, children, Hodie Mae Jones, Mathaneil Larkin, Ocie Lee Larkin, Morlene Dix and Charlie Larkin; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of other relaties and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Floralbearers will be friends of the family.
Gibson was born on March 15, 1900 in Coffee County, to Jessie and Stella Mincey. She attended Elam Missionary Baptist Church in Springhill.
Visitation will be held from noon until 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26 , 2000, and the body will lie-in-state from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 at the church.
Clovis G. Gutierrez
Clovis G. Gutierrez, 70, of Troy, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2000 at Long-Term Health Care of Montgomery.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Clifford Mathews presiding. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include his wife, Merle Gutierrez of Troy; children, Kenneth Gutierrez, Michael Gutierrez, Cheryl DeRosa, Ronald Gutierrez, Louisa Greenhill, Gary Skores, Jacci Canino and Patricia Pizer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Filemon Gutierrez; Elle Gutierrez; Lorenzo Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 27 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Annie Ree Leverette
Annie Ree Leverette, 83, of Troy, died Sunday, January 23, 2000 at her home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Banks with the Rev. L. C. McMillian presiding. Burial will follow at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her husband, Hosie Leverett; children, Lillie Mae Flowers of Brundidge, Mary (Ricky) Ballad of Goshen, L.A. Leverett of Troy; a sister, Bulah Starks of Troy; brothers-in-law, Fato Leverett of Troy, James Leverett of Enterprise; sisters-in-law, Susie Leverett of Enterprise, Bernice McCloure of Brundidge, Mable Brooks of Brundidge, Sally Jackson of Ohio and Cora Johnson of Troy; grandchildren, Shanda Ballard, Ray Leverett, Antonia Flowers, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1916 in Pike County, to Jonah and Victoria McClure. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
The body will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000 at Antioch Baptist Church.
