Billy G. White, 58, of Rt. 2 Box 77-A in Brundidge died at his home on Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999 at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church with Rev. Malcom Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Assembly of God in Brundidge.

Survivors include, wife, Judy F. White in Brundidge; daughter, Sherry Roberts of Brundidge; two grandchildren, Christie and Josh Roberts of Brundidge; sisters, Inez Wambles of Jack; Jo Ann Rugg of Jack; and Brother, Jimmy White of Jack.

Visitation was after 4 p.m. at his home on Monday, Dec. 13, 1999.

Evetta Denise Hughes

Evetta Denise Hughes, 39, of Jerusalem Campground in Brundidge died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999 at Jerusalem Temple at Jersualem Campground with Bishop Sam Smith, III officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Gardens in Jerusalem Campground with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home Directing.

Survivors include three children, Jamarra, Jaquetta, and Jamar Hughes; parents, Al and Jessie Mae Smith; grandmother, Mrs. Alva Queen Ward of Brundidge; brother, Michael Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla; sister, Dianne Johnson of Miami, Fla; three aunts, Doris Johnny Boykins of Orlando; Areather (James) Griffin of Miami; and Anna Mae (Willie) Dudley of Jacksonville, Fla; four uncles, William Jenny Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla; T. J. Johnson of Orlando, Fla.; Lamar Johnson of Miami Fla; McArthur (Lena) Johnson of Jacksonville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1960 at Jacksonville, Fla. to Al and Jessie Mae Smith. She is a graduate of Hialeah Miami Lakes High School. She was employed at the Russell Shirt Factory. She was a member of Church of Our Lord in Opa Locka, Fla.

Myrtis Graves

Myrtis Graves, 86, formerly of Dothan died in Marietta Ga. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999 at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Frith of St. Cloud, Fla.; Carol Parris of Acworth, Ga.; devoted daughter in law, Barbie O’Quinn of Graceville, Fla.; two sisters, Daphine Kent of Lady Lake, Fla.; and Mildred Jackson of Selma, Ala; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are the #459 Order of The Eastern Star Troy Chapter.

She was involved in the organization Eastern Star 50 Year Honarary Member of Troy Chapter #459 and a longtime member of The First Baptist Church of Dothan.

Visitation was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1999 at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Ethel Neal

Ethel Neal, 96, of Park Street in Troy died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999 at her residence.

Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Troy with Rev. Larry Bland officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include, daughter, Mrs. Annie Pearl Gipp of Troy; sisters, Johnnie Balden of Troy; Evergreen Miller (C. T.), Mageline Cooke of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Sally Harris (Lee) of Detroit, Mich.; brother, Raymond Jones of Alliance, Ohio; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; six great-great-great-grandchildren; devoted friend, Mrs. Gertrude Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1902 in Pike County, Ala. Her parents were the late Cicero Jones and Sally Kimball Jones. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.

Billy Joe Ussery

Billy Joe Ussery, 69, of 106 Sussex Ave. in Troy died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999 at his home.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, 1999 at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery with Rev. Duran Sherrer officiating. Full military honors will be given at the graveside. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy will be directing.

Survivors include his wife, Sue N. Ussery of Troy; one son, William Joseph "Billy" Ussery of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Cara U. Morales of Montgomery; Amy Ussery of Troy; two grandchildren; Joni Johns of Montgomery; Matthew Morales of Montgomery; sister, Peggy Chappa of Lompok, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Delbert and Pearl Lowe Ussery. He was preceeded in death by his parents Delbert and Pearl Lowe Ussery. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, having 22 years of service.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.
