Aubrey Vernon Botts

Aubrey Vernon Botts, 88, of Ozark, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999 at Dale Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 11 a.m. with Elder Cary Sanders and Rev. Averyt Walker officiating. There will be a thirty minute lie-in-state prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church in Banks.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Wyman and Betty R. Botts of Brundidge; Aerial and Bennie Carol Botts of Chicago; Myron and Peggy Botts of Birmingham; one brother, John Virgil Botts of Banks; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Carlos Botts, Charlie Botts, Elbert Botts, John Harden, Jerrell Harden, Thelton Harden and Cecil Locklar.

She was formerly of Brundidge.

Visitation will be at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Tuesday, Nov. 23. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Alyce Johnston Boatner

Alyce Johnston Boatner, 75, of 515 Orange St. in Troy, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services were at First Methodist Church of Troy on Monday Nov. 22 at 2:45 p.m. with Revs. Danny Doss, Larry Ellis, Dr. Lamar Jackson. Burial followed at Green Hills in Troy.

Survivors include, daughter, Paula Boatner Roses of Birmingham; grandson, Paul Wesley Short of Birmingham.

She is preceeded in death by a daughter Bonnie Boatner Short; and her parents Dr. and Mrs. Tommy Johnston of Brundidge, Ala.

Visitation was at First Methodist Church of Troy on Monday, Nov. 22 at 2:45 p.m.
