Thomas Lee Folmar, 87, a resident of Goshen died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Elam Primative Baptist Church with Elder J.P. Morgan. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Masonic Rites will be given at the grave site.

Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Beulah Ross Hall of Glenwood, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Elam Primative Baptist Church and a member of the Troy Masonic Lodge for 55 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Folmar.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, Nov. 20 from 2 p.m. until service time.

 

Alyce Johnston Boatner

Alyce Johnston Boatner, 75, of 515 Orange Street in Troy died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:45 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, at First Methodist Church of Troy with the Revs. Danny Doss, Larry Ellis and Dr. Lamar Jackson presiding.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery in Troy.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Boatner Roses of Birmingham; and a grandson, Paul Wesley Short of Birmingham.

She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Boatner Short and her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Tommy Johnston of Brundidge.
