for Christmas toys

For children, Santa Claus is a big part of Christmas. Santa brings toys for good boys and girls and puts them under the Christmas tree while the children sleep. But, sometimes Santa’s visit never comes, even for good children and they wake up to a sad and disappointing Christmas.

Brad Ragan’s Tire Service in Troy is part of a campaign to make sure that no children are disappointed on Christmas morning. Ragan’s has been designated a collection point for Goodyear’s nationwide "toys for tots" campaign. Ragan is asking all area residents to bring a toy that is cluttering a closet or idle on a shelf to his store at 111 U. S. 231 South to donate to the campaign.

Ragan said the toys may be brought in through noon Dec. 24 and they will be delivered to deserving children by the Marine recruiters in the Pike County area.

Store hours are 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m .Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday.

"We hope that everyone contributes to this toy campaign and help make Christmas merry for some deserving child," Ragan said.
