Mary Lee Brundidge
Mary Lee Brundidge, 59, of Troy died Saturday, September 4, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 1999 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. Lowell Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Carroll Street Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
She was born November 23, 1939 in Pike County and was the daughter of Richard Bud Owens and Lizzie Mae Scott Owens. She was a domestic worker and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Troy.
Survivors include three children, Joyce (Waun) Harley Howard of Bronx, New York; Andre Harley and Felicia Scott, both of Troy; five sisters, (her twin sister) Carrie Lee (John) Thomas of Troy; Geraldine Martin of Newark, New Jersey; Mary Henderson of Brooklyn, New York; Jennifer (Andrew) Thompson of Korea; Greta (Rodney) Wilson of Ft. Bliss, Texas; one sister-in-law, Brenda Owens of Troy; nine brothers, Charles (Pearl) Potts of Atlanta, Georgia; Richard Henderson of Brooklyn, New York; Anthony (Shirley) Henderson of Ashborn, Virginia; Jimmy (Sharon) Henderson of Houston, Texas; Cassius (Kathy) Henderson of Brooklyn, New York; Jim (Cathy) of Brooklyn, New York; and Keith Elder of Baltimore, Maryland; Duane Elder of Troy; Nole Matreece Youngblood, Joyce Janie Knox, Andre Segan Knox, Shatae Alexandria Martin, Moshon Tequilla Scott, Romonte Key-Shawn Scott and Malaysia Zakera Scott all of Troy; and a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nurses Guild and Deaconess. Floralbearers will be friends of the family.
Visitation will be held from 12 – 6 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 1999 and will lie-in-state one hour prior to service from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 1999.
