Betty “Joyce” Brady, 84, of Sandfield Community, died Sunday, September 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Zebulon Baptist Church Wednesday, September 16, 2015, 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Donnie Dunn and Rick Hayes officiating and Gray Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow the service in the Sandfield Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be at the church at 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.

Joyce was a longtime member of Zebulon Baptist Church where she served her Lord and Savior faithfully. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Everyone who knew her loved her kind, joyful spirit. She was a blessing to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert L. Brady, her parents, Charlie Clifton and Magnolia Henderson Redding, her brother, Clifton Redding, and her sisters, Dot Parish and Hazel Keen.

She is survived by her children, Wayne (Cheryl) Brady, Patsy (Ray) Goodson, Terry (Janice) Brady. Brenda (Donnie) Dunn and Tim (Lori) Brady; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, brother and sisters-in-law and special friends, Jessie Pittman and Ruby Turner.
