Mrs. Gladys Lucas age 93 of Troy died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Troy Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Andrew Knick Officiating. Burial Will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Dillard Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James W. and Sandra Lucas of Troy, grandsons Jimmy Lucas of Louisiana, Tommy (Ellie) Lucas of Helena, a great grandson Reid Lucas of Helena, a sister Mildred Carroll

of Troy, a brother Robert (Martha) Wynn of Wetumpka, her sisters-in-law Bessie, Helen and Iretha Wynn, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cyril Lucas, her parents J.C. and Thelma Wynn, brothers Bryant, Shirley and James Wynn, her sisters Florence Wynn and Margaret “Bebe” (Eddie) Kuhn.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy and Tommy Lucas, Greg Carroll, Byron Wynn, Hunter Hanson and Jay Williams. The Coed IV Sunday School Class at Southside Baptist will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the South Side Baptist Church Building Fund or the Paran Cemetery Fund, 108 Dendron Ave, Troy, Al 36081.
