UPDATE: Man killed in CR 3304 rollover identified

UPDATE:
A single-vehicle crash Saturday, June 21, claimed the life of a Troy man. Willie Edwards, 50, was killed when the 2007 Ford F150 he was driving left the roadway and overturned. Edwards was not wearing a seat belt. The crash occurred at 9:09 p.m. on Pike County 3304 four miles south of Troy. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
Trooper Kevin Cook stressed the importance of wearing a seatbelt.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a rollover that happened Saturday night at around 9 p.m.
The single-vehicle wreck happened on County Road 3304 about halfway between State Highway 87 and U.S. Highway 231.
The exact cause of the rollover has not been determined, but the victim was ejected from the Ford Truck and found in the roadway about 40 feet from the wreckage.
The identification of the victim has been withheld pending confirmation and notification of next-of-kin.
