Mr. Kline Bentley of Troy passed away Monday, April 7, 2104 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. He was 78. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the Babbie Community with Rev. Philip Morgan officiating. Interment will follow with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. He was born July 14, 1935 in Troy, AL. to the late Kline Bentley, Sr. and Mary Eugenia Smith Bentley. In addition to his parents by his wife, Jo Ann Ross Bentley, preceded him in death. He is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-laws: Kline Bentley III (Melanie), Portland, OR; Kenneth R. Bentley (Heather), Valparaiso, FL; and David M. Bentley (Alissa), Crestview, FL; and 7 grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Piland, Chris Piland, Brandon Hickman, Michael Hickman, Jared Bradley, Trent Iley and Bill Mullins.
