Velma Rose Messick , age 74, of Petrey, died Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy at 1:00 PM with Reverend Clifford Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include, Husband, William Randall Messick of Petrey, Children, John and Karen Carr of Knoxville, Tn. Angela and John Smith of Palm Harbor , Fl., Kevin Carr of Millbrook, Step Son, Jeremy Messick of Petrey, 4 Granchildren, Tasha Johnson, Matt Carr, Ashley Nevitt, Josh Carr, 4 Great Grandchildren, Kali and Kai Johnson, Cody and Caleb Carr.
