Glenda Corbitt Ross

Glenda Corbitt Ross, age 62 of Brundidge, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. She was born on March 29, 1951 in Marianna, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Reverend Averyt Walker and Reverend J.C. Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Ross; sons, Kris (Kellie) Ross, Marc (Teresa) Ross; daughter, Jodi (Richard) Wilcox; one brother and sister-in-law, Morgan and Faye Corbitt, two cousins, Virginia Pierce and Connie Kilpatrick; 6 beloved grandchildren, Kait Ross, Kym Ross, Kristal Ross, Jessica Wilcox, Hunter Ross and Drake Ross; one sister-in-law, Susan and Bryan Newland and several special nieces and nephews

Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents J.A. and Adel Corbitt, brother Durwood Corbitt; sisters Joan Angerbrandt and her twin Brenda Steed.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Hornsby, Terry Miles, Sean Adams, Sonny Schrieber, Loren “Buck” Williams and Chris Miley. Chuck Railey will be an honorary pallbearer.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Bethel Baptist Church in Graceville, FL.
