Jerry Mack Hudson  “D-Daddy”, Age 75 of Elba died Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Troy surrounded by his wife of 55 years and his children who are grateful that during his death peace and love once again was present in the family.
A very special thank you goes out to Rita Outlaw and Hospice Advantage for their caring of not only Jerry but the family.
Jerry taught and coached at Zion Chapel High school before going to Opp High school to teach science for 20 Years.
A visitation will be held at a later date and announced. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include, Wife of 55 years, Betty Harris Hudson of Elba, Daughter and Son in law, Donna and Scott Denman of Tampa, Florida. Son and Daughter in law,  John and Shannon Hudson of Troy. Grandchildren, Rebecca Denman (Aaron Keller) of Tallahassee, Florida, Brooke and Aaron Bryan of Troy, Anna Denman of Tampa, Florida, Ragan Hudson of Troy, His brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Pat Hudson of Elba , Glenn and Roxie Hudson of Eufaula, Alabama, Several nieces and Nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents George Marvin “Dock” Hudson and Annie Helms Kinsaul, 2 infant sons  and a nephew Darrell “Pete” Hudson.

In lieu of flowers memorial should be made to Hospice Advantage.
