Gladys Morgan Windham

November 4, 1920 – October 3, 2013 Gladys Morgan Windham, age 92, died Thursday, October 3, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Highway 223 with Reverend Averyt Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Windham was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe Morgan and Maggie Kindred Morgan, her husband of 64 years, Lawrence Windham, her son, Charles Windham. She was the last of ten children.

Survivors include her son Larry (Harriett) Windham of Saraland; daughter Mary Shiver of Alpharetta, Georgia; and daughter Ann (Mac) Seay of Banks; grandchildren Kenneth (Tonya) Windham of Saraland; Rhonda (Jeff) Thornton of Sugar Hill, Georgia; Janet (Marv) Jackson of Troy; and Matthew (Tasha) Seay of Banks; nine great grandchildren, Baylee and Kenny Windham; Mason and Sara Thornton; Hayley and Hannah Rose Jackson; and Wayne, Brenden, and Angel Seay; and three great great grandchildren.
