Corinne Sanders Pinckard, age 93, of Troy, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Arbor Springs Health & Rehab in Opelika, AL. Funeral arrangements will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Park Memorial United Methodist Church in Troy, with Rev. Danny Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.

Mrs. Pinckard was a member of Park Memorial United Methodist Church for more than fifty years. She was a member of the National United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Elmer Pinckard; brothers, Horace Sanders and Thomas Wilson Sanders, sisters, Annie Lee Owens and Ewell Nave. She is survived by sons, Donald Pinckard, Kenneth Sanders Pinckard (Maxine); daughters, Betty Campbell, Billie Pinckard Hightower (Michael); brother, Allen Sanders (Carolyn); eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Greene Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Park Memorial United Methodist Church.
