Mrs. Eloise McVay Hudson of Bruce St. Troy, AL. passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at her residence. She was 75. Memorial services for Eloise McVay Hudson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Troy with Father Den Irwin officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. She was born January 4, 1938 in Andalusia, AL daughter of the late Oliver Cromwell McVay and Claudia Bryant McVay. She lived at Bruce St. in Troy and had many good friends that she loved very much. She was a nurse and her love was taking care of her friends in the Elba Nursing Home and Enterprise Nursing Home. She was a avid Roll Tide Fan. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Joseph Hudson, and a brother, David “Pete” McVay. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: John and April Hudson, Fairbanks, AK; daughter and son-in-law: Anita and Dave Zumbach, Harker Heights, TX; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Mary Annie Hill, Houma, LA; and Mable Richburg, Opp, AL.
