Mr. Ted Harrison (Pop), age 75, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at his home in Brundidge, Alabama. Funeral Services for Mr. Harrison will be Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Troy, Alabama with Dr. Luke Lane officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in the Mossy Grove Cemetery for family, extended family and invited close relatives. Graveside services will be under the direction of his grandson, Ryan Andrew Harrison, Lt. JG USCG and decorated, Donald John Bennett, Staff Sgt. U.S. Army-82nd Airborne, Green Beret, Airborne Ranger. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Barakka Class and the Lydia Class of First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends in their home home located at 357 Fleming Street in Brundidge after a brief Graveside service for family at the Mossy Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jonell Williams Harrison.

He has four children and spouses, Steve and Carol Harrison, David and Rita Harrison, Johnny and Loretta Harrison, and Deanna Elizabeth and Tim Glass.

He was Pop to six grandsons and two granddaughters, Ryan Andrew Harrison, Patrick Alan Harrison, Ethan Mark Harrison, James Turner Harrison, Zackary Harrison Glass, Reagan William Harrison, Dylan Taylor Glass and Samantha Nicole Glass; a great grandchild, Ryan and Sarah’s son; and a sister, Betty Harrison Hall.

Ted was preceded by his parents, John T. and Daisy Bagley Harrison, brothers, John Turner Jr. and Zack Trice Harrison.
