Mrs. Carol Jean Jordan of Brundidge passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She was 48. Funeral services for Carol Jean Jordan will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Dr. Frank Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Peniel Cemetery in Dale County, AL. with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation for Mrs. Jordan will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service. She was born May 19, 1964 in Abbeville, AL. to the late James Franklin Parks and Ersel Louvenior Riley Parks. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: James (Mary) Jordan, Ozark; daughter and a friend: Ashley English and Chris Hill, Troy; granddaughter: Maria Taylor, Troy; brothers and sisters-in-law: Derrell (Ruth) Norris, Troy; James (Brenda) Parks and Eugene Parks all of Eufaula; sisters and brother-in-law: Cathy Parker and Cary, Eufaula; Jackie Trawick, Ozark; Connie (Robert) Vidaurri, Victor, TX; and Linda Dean, Ariton, AL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Vidaurri, Dan English, James Harrodson, Ryan Turner, Don Larkin, Cary Frazier.
