Timmy Green, age 34, of Troy passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 along with his son Blake Green, age 14 as a result of an auto accident in Troy. Funeral services for Timmy Green will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Springhill Emmanuel Church with Pastor Wilburn Kirkland and Pastor Chris Story officiating. Burial will follow in the Starling-Davenport Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation for Timmy Green will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Timmy was born November 17, 1978 in Troy, AL to Walter Harold Green and Elizabeth Ann Green. He is survived by his mother and father: Liz and Walter Green, Troy; 2 daughters: Hailey Green and Shelby Green, both of Troy; girlfriend: Shirley Hunt, her daughters: Robyn and Lacie Edwards, all of Troy; grandmother; Frances Davenport, Troy; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends. Serving as active pallbearers will be Robert Allen, Benji Campbell, Anthony Morse, Justin Whitehead, Steve Whitehead and Jeff McDurmont. Honorary pallbearers will be Shayne Reeves, Mike Blaisdale and Jake Rotten.
