A single in the seventh inning spoiled Tripp Blackmon’s bid at a no-hitter as Charles Henderson defeated Stanhope-Elmore 9-0 in the Jason Armstrong FCA Memorial Tournament at Paterson Field in Montgomery on Tuesday.

The Trojans were the beneficiaries of eight Mustang errors.

Blackmon tossed all seven innings to earn the complete game victory. The senior struck out five and threw just 69 pitches in the effort.
