We have a lot of good team coming in this year and obviously we want to win our own tournament.”

Friday’s schedule will see the Trojans face Northridge at 3 p.m. and Eufaula at 7 p.m. Both of those games will be played at Troy University’s Riddle-Pace Field.

Weather may be an issue for the tournament, but Irons hopes having two fields will help keep the tournament on track.
“Fortunately, we have a field right up the street (Riddle-Pace) that drains really well,” Irons said. “Hopefully the rain won’t set us back to much and we have a chance to get all the games in.”
Charles Henderson will open the month of March of in style hosting both Dothan and Oak Mountain in a doubleheader on March 2. The Trojans then head north for a tournament in Montgomery hosted at both Paterson Field and Riverwalk Stadium from March 5-9.
