Mr. Woodrow Austin, age 74 of Brundidge, passed away Dec. 24, 2012, at his home. Visitation for Mr. Austin will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 26, at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge, with the Rev. Rick Hayes officiating.

Mr. Austin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lois Austin; sisters, Frances Walker and Margaret (Bobby) McDurmont; two grandchildren, Terry Sims (Samantha) and DaWanda Warshek (Chris); two great-grandchildren, Avery Warshek and McKenzie Woods; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Linnie Austin; a son, Joe Sims; and a brother-in-law, Don Walker.

His classmates of 1958 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
