William Leighton Floyd age 73 of Montgomery died Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Montgomery.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

He is survived by his wife Jean Floyd of Montgomery, a son Chris Floyd of Montgomery, a sister and brother-in-law Ann and Marvin Barron a brother and sister-in-law Robert and Linda Floyd a sister-in-law Mary Floyd and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lamar and Olene Floyd and a brother Jerry Floyd.

Active pallbearers will be Marvin Barron, Bruce Jones, Doug Baxter, Larry Craft, Todd Floyd and Wade Lindsey.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tom Kincer and his staff for the care and attention given to Mr. Floyd and his family during his illness.
