Charles Henderson High School started registration for students on Wednesday. Students in the 12th and 11th grades received their schedules and bought lockers and parking permits. Students in the ninth and 10th grades will have registration today.

    Guess I’ve been out of school way too long since I wasn’t aware that todays students had to BUY lockers and pay for parking space

      LOL! You pay for a lot more than that as you go through the line to get a schedule.

      From 1969-1973 we paid a locker rental and a parking decal. Nothing new!

    All of which was free when I was in school . How can they be free public schools if your charged for everything .

      Really?!?! The education is the “free” part and we, the taxpayers, are the ones actually paying for it.

    If you are old enough to remember when students did not have to pay for parking spaces or lockers you are old enough to remember when students had to buy their own textbooks.
