Troy Softball lands another transfer portal commitment

The Troy Trojans softball team earned a commitment from Texas Tech transfer Kiley Huffman on Wednesday. 

Huffman is a 5-foot-6-inch outfielder from Alvin, Texas. Huffman was the No. 19-ranked outfielder in the country by Extra Innings coming out of high school.  She earned All-State honors as a senior in high school.

Huffman started her college career at Texas Tech, playing for the Red Raiders this past season. She played in 34 total games, with nine starts. She earned a .200 batting average in 40 total at-bats. She tallied three doubles, eight RBIs and 11 runs on the season. She also earned eight putouts with a perfect fielding percentage on defense. 

Huffman will come to Troy with three years of eligibility remaining. Huffman joins a transfer class for the Trojan softball team that now includes Junior College (JUCO) All-American Sophia Jenkins, Michigan State transfer pitcher Ella Cunningham, UTSA transfer catcher Karlee Rochinski and South Alabama transfer outfielder Amity White. White is a Brundidge native who earned All-State honors at both Pike Liberal Arts and Pike County.
