- On behalf of the Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center, we are deeply grateful for Kappa Delta Sorority for their generous donation from their annual Shamrock event. Their dedication to philanthropy and commitment to making a difference in our community is truly inspiring. This contribution will have a meaningful impact, helping us to support children and families in our community.
Summer has been around long enough for afghans to be stored away and fresh flowers to be on the table.
So, what to do with all that “stuff” that there’s no place to put?
It’s time to shed the fall and winter socks, shoes, clothing and rid the house of winter odds and ends.
And, the Pike County Child Advocacy Center at 118 West Orange Street in Troy has a place and a purpose.
On Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28, from 7 a.m. until noon, the Pike Regional Advocacy Center will host a Community Yard Sale where buyers choose the price of a donated item or items of their choice.
What a yard sale that will be!
All “shoppers” will be invited to browse gently used items and make a donation for their selections,” said Kaylee Green, Pike CAC executive director. “All proceeds will support the vital work of the Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center.”
The CAC trains professionals and community members on preventing, recognizing, responding to and reporting child abuse.
The Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center, 118 West Orange Street, was established in 2004 and continues to provide a child- friendly facility with a caring and trained staff at 118 West Orange Street in Troy.
