A two-vehicle crash in Dale County on Monday, June 16, claimed the life of 37-year-old Dothan man Joseph Lee Muccio.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:23 a.m. on Monday, June 16, south of Ozark. The 2009 Kawasaki ZX 1000 Ninja that Muccio was driving struck a 2000 International 9900 driven by 39-year-old Brian Bernard Anglin, of Clayton. The crash occurred on Dale County 30 at U.S. Highway 231, two miles south of Ozark city limits.

Muccio was transported to Dale Medical Center in Ozark, where he later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash and was pronounced deceased. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
