Troy Soccer announces 2025 schedule

The Troy Trojans released the 2025 soccer schedule on June 5 heading into year three under head coach Stuart Gore.
Troy will open the season on the road with a pair of exhibition matches against Alabama A&M on Aug. 7 and Kennesaw State on Aug. 10. The regular season begins on Aug. 14 at Murray State and then the Trojans head to Alcorn State on Aug. 17.
Finally, Troy will open up the home schedule on Aug. 22 against Southeastern Louisiana before facing off against Spring Hill Aug. 24. Back on the road, Troy battles North Alabama Aug. 28 and closes the first month of the season at home against Jacksonville on Aug. 31.
Troy hosts Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 7 before wrapping up non-conference play at Stetson on Sept. 11. Sun Belt Conference play begins on the road Sept. 14 at Arkansas State before Troy hosts Southern Miss back at home on Sept. 18.
Back on the road, Troy plays Texas State on Sept. 21 and hosts James Madison on Sept. 27 to wrap up September. October begins on the road at Old Dominion on Oct. 2 and then Troy is back at home vs. Georgia Southern on Oct. 5 for a Sunday game. On Oct. 12, Troy faces Georgia State and then finishes off a two-game road stretch at ULM on Oct. 19.
Troy will finish off the regular season with back-to-back home matches against Louisiana on Oct. 24 and rival South Alabama on Oct. 29. Foley will play host to the SBC Tournament from Nov. 3 through Nov. 8.
The 2025 Trojans return three of its top five scorers from the 2024 team, including Hailey Phillips who scored five points last season. Both Daniell Trovato and Georgia Mulholland, who scored four points each, are back. Goalie Nittany Vega (17 saves) also returns.
The Trojans have also added a number of players from the transfer portal, including former Auburn goalie Taylor Richards, East Carolina midfielder Elsa Stedman and Bowling Green forward Alaina Uncapher.
Richards is a Plano, Texas native, who earned All-District honors at Plano Senior High School before starting her college career at Auburn. In 2024, as a redshirt sophomore, Richards played in two matches and earned two saves with one shutout.
Stedman is a Wisconsin native who played high school soccer at Montverde Academy, where she helped her team to a State Championship as a senior and earned All-Conference and Florida All-Star honors as a senior. She started her college career at East Carolina, scoring one goal and dishing an assist as a freshman in 2023.
Uncapher is an Ohio native who was an All-State athlete at Anthony Wayne High School. She finished her high school career with 52 goals and 42 assists. She started her college career at Bowling Green, tallying one goal and four assists as a true freshman. After redshirting 2023, Uncapher earned Academic All-MAC in 2024. She scored two goals, including a game-winning goal along with two assists as a redshirt sophomore.
