Share My World Academy is a childcare facility offering a range of services. In addition to their original location at 1223 Park St., they have opened a second location at 321 S Brundidge St.

The new location held their ribbon cutting on May 30 and officially opened for business on June 2. Director Shandrekia Baldwin shared her excitement for opening the new location.

“I was very thrilled and I have just been on a cloud,” said Baldwin. 

She also expressed the need for this second location.

“Our wait list was six pages long, we had 143 kids on it,” she said. At our small location, our capacity for that building is only 30 and it has been at its capacity for the last two years.”

With this new location, Share My World now has room for an additional 50 students.

The facility offers a variety of services including day, night and weekend childcare, transportation services and summer camp programs.

With the new space, Share My World is looking to start new programs such as community give back days and entrepreneur programs. Baldwin also wanted to share their official mission statement and what they stand for as a childcare facility across both locations.

“Share my world isn’t just a childcare center, it is a purpose driven space rooted in love, growth and community. What makes us stand out from our other competitors is that we pour into each child not just academically, but emotionally and spiritually,” she said. “We believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard and nurtured in a safe, joyful environment that feels like home. From our daily routine to enrichment programs, we’re intentional about creating opportunities for learning and creativity.”
