According to the Pike County Road Department, a portion of CR-4434 in Banks is closed until further notice for emergency repair.

The portion of CR-4434 that runs behind the Tyson Foods Feed Mill in Banks will be closed at the southern end from CR-4404 northernly to the southern entrance of the feed mill. Barricades are in place and no through traffic is allowed.

“Be aware that this is a dangerous situation, so please do not move or go around the barricades,” the Pike County Road Department’s released stated. “Pike County appreciates your patience until material can be obtained and the road work completed.”

The northern end of CR-4434 remains open and allows passage to CR-4406 and the northern entrance to the feed mill.
