Boots for Vets continues support of veterans

Motorists traveling through downtown Brundidge on Memorial Day had the opportunity to support. “‘Boots for Vets,” an annual fundraising event for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7055 in Brundidge.
Henry Middlebrooks, post commander, said the annual fundraiser supports the needs of veterans here at home and in other locations where needs are great.
“The City of Brundidge has been very gracious in continuing to allow Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7055 to have an annual roadblock in downtown Brundidge,” Middlebrooks said. “The donations support veterans in a variety of ways throughout the year. People have been and continue to be, generous in their support of ‘Boots for Vets,’ because they understand what our veterans have done and continue to do whatever is necessary to keep America the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
