Troy University’s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology (EP) has recently been awarded initial accreditation by the Commission of Accreditation Allied Health Education Programs(CAAHEP).
This accreditation is a significant milestone for the program, as it is the first accredited Exercise Physiology program in the state of Alabama.
The CAAHEP accreditation highlights the quality of the program, as well as the dedicated work by the faculty who led the program through the extensive accreditation process.
“This accreditation affirms the excellence of our EP program and highlights Troy University as a leader in health and human performance education in Alabama,” said Dr. LaGary Carter, Dean of the College of Health Sciences. “We are thrilled to provide students with a nationally recognized program that prepares them for advanced studies and careers in high-demand health professions.”
Graduates from the Exercise Physiology program typically pursue graduate programs in many fields such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistants, and Chiropractic care.
