ADOC officials searching for escaped inmate in Hope Hull

Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) officials are searching for escaped inmate Stephen Aaron Murphy, who escaped from the Frank Lee Community Based Facility/Community Work Center in Hope Hull.
According to a CrimeStoppers release, Murphy told a van driver that he had to use the restroom at Hardees on 79 Folmar Parkway in Hope Hull and when he exited the van he never returned. He was last seen wearing white pans, a black and gray shirt and black shoes.
Murphy is serving consecutive 99 years sentences for a robbery committed in Morgan County. He has multiple tattoos, including a cross tattoo in the center of his back and the words “Break This” with a heart and dagger, “Morgan County” and “256” on his right forearm. He also has a tattoo of the Alabama map, “est 87” and “Murphy” on his left shoulder.
