An organization that has America’s Veterans as its focus and as its heartbeat is coming to Troy.

Elaine McLeod, Commander of Got Your 6 in Ozark said the veteran non-profit organization will begin meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursdays at Riverview Baptist Church north of Troy.

“There is no charge for our veterans and they are all invited and are encouraged to come share a meal and time with other veterans,” McLeod said. “This will be a time of fellowship, new and renewed.  There will be no structured time and there is no charge. Got Your 6 is simply a time for veterans to get together and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of veteran fellowship.”
McLeod said veterans have a close bond, no matter when they served, where they served and how they served.

“Veterans are a special bunch and enjoy sharing,” McLeod said. “This is an opportunity for us to show them how much their service was and is appreciated. And, it’s letting them know that they, nor any of those who have served and will serve, will ever be forgotten.”
