The Charles Henderson Trojans saw their 2025 season come to a close this weekend with a 4-2 loss to Faith Academy in the Class 5A Soccer Quarterfinals.

The two sides were tied 2-2 at halftime but Faith managed to score a pair of goals in the second half to secure the win and move on to the state semifinals. Daniel Frigge and Jealin Atwell each scored one goal for the Trojans in the loss.

Charles Henderson ends the season with a 10-2-6 record, an Area Championship and having won two playoff games.

“The guys played their hearts out and gave everything,” CHHS Coach Josh Wildermuth said. “What a great season we had and an awesome run. We are still pretty young and will return most of the team, so we are sitting in a great spot next year.

“The seniors have gone out on top and have done something at Charles Henderson, making it to the third round. We will get back to work in a few weeks with our summer program and hopes to achieve even more next year.”
