Troy Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, May 3, on Dunn Circle in Troy that led to the death of one person.

According to a release from TPD, officers responded to the 100 block of Dunn Circle at 10:30 p.m. on May 3, following reports of a large crowd and louse noise. Multiple gunshots were heard by officers as they arrived, according to the release.

Officers discovered a male victim on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers began CPR until Troy Fire Department arrived on scene. The victim later died from the injuries he suffered.

At the time of the incident, a large crowd was present at the scene, according to TPD. TPD is requesting anyone who witnessed the shooting – or has information that may help the investigation – to come forward.
