Barron pitched a total of 14 innings in Pike’s Area Tournament Championship run, boasting a 1.29 ERA with six strikeouts, while giving up just two earned runs for the entire tournament. She held a 2-0 record in the tournament in the circle, pitching two complete games. She also drove in one run at the plate and scored two runs.

Barron pitched seven innings in Pike’s state quarterfinal game three win over Tuscaloosa Academy this week, giving up just two earned runs and striking out four batters. Barron also earned a .375 batting average in the series with a double, four RBIs and one run. Barron drove in the tying run in game three, as well.
