For the third year, the International Art Center will join the Johnson Center for the Arts at TroyFest the last weekend in April 26 and 27 host a huge CommUNITY pARTy for the extended City of Troy.

“There will be numerous activities at a painting station hosted by Troy University’s International Art Center and the Johnson Center for the Arts.  Together, they are providing ArtPlay, TheatrePlay, chalk art and bubbles and face painting,” said Carrie Jaxon, ICA director and curator IAC.

Many community members will be helping provide activities from puppet shows to a collaborative art project that will be made as a community,” Jaxon said.

TroyFest downtown Troy will feature artists from the local area and beyond. And, just across the way on the campus of Troy University the CommUNITY pARTy will be going on. So, be smART! Don’t miss it.
