Vaznain earned a .556 batting average in three games this week with five hits, three doubles, a triple, two RBIs and two runs. He also pitched four and ⅓ innings and struck out four batters, while giving up just four hits and one earned run. 

 

FEMALE 

Pike Liberal Arts School 

Vargas became the first tennis player in school history to qualify for the AHSAA State Tournament after she swept her way to a Sectional Championship. After receiving a bye in the first round, she swept the semifinals 6-1 and 6-0 before sweeping the finals with 6-0 wins in both sets.
