Mendenhall to speak to Pike County Republican Women

The Pike County Republican Women are pleased to announce that internationally known Dr. Allen Mendenhall will be the guest speaker at the April 23rd meeting. Dr. Mendenhall’s topic is the Declaration of Independence in recognition of the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration in 2026.
Allen Mendenhall serves as Associate Dean and Grady Rosier Professor at Troy University’s Sorrell College of Business, where he also leads the Manuel H. Johnson Center for Political Economy. Dr. Mendenhall writes a weekly column for 1819 News and is the author of many books on a variety of topics. He is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Madden Center for Value Creation at Florida Atlantic University as well as a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation. In May he will transition to a full-time role with the Heritage Foundation.
