Head-on collision claims life of Brundidge man Anquavious Walker

According to a release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of Brundidge man Anquavious D. Walker on April 4.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 125 near the 23-mile marker, seven miles south of Brundidge, when the 2014 Chevrolet Impala driven by the 25-year-old Walker collided head-on with a 2002 Toyota 4Runner driven by Adrian G. Vernon, 43, of Covington, Ga.
According to the release, Walker was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was fatally injured, pronounced deceased at the scene. A two-year-old juvenile passenger in the vehicle with Walker was injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment. Vernon was also injured and transported to Southeast Health in Dothan for treatment.
ALEA Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
