Recently, Troy Regional Medical Center announced the hiring of Paige Myers as its new Administrator of Physician Practices.

Myers is a 20-year healthcare veteran and has served in a similar position at Baptist Health in Montgomery for the past five years. Myers, a Wetumpka native, is responsible for the oversight of outpatient practices. There are currently 10 clinics at Troy Regional including primary care, orthopedic surgery, hematology and oncology, wound care, gynecology and ENT (ear, nose and throat).

“We are fortunate to add Paige to our administrative team with her extensive experience in managing primary care, behavioral health and wound care practices in addition to working in other healthcare-related areas,” said Troy Regional CEO Rick Smith.

Myers and her husband, Randal Myers, both have a history in Troy and the surrounding area. Randal Myers was a music major at Troy University in the 1970s and was the drum major for the Sound of the South Band in 1978 and 1979 and went on to serve as band director at Zion Chapel High School for six years. He was also the campus minister for the Collegedale Church of Christ until 2001.

“I am very excited about this new opportunity to work with Troy Regional,” Paige Myers said. “Randal and I lived in Troy when we first married and have so many wonderful memories of this area. It is truly like coming home.”
