- John Ramage, Troy Bank & Trust’s EVP, recently spoke to the Brundidge Rotary Club.
Money is a subject that interests most everyone.
So, the Brundidge Rotarians were all ears, at the club’s Thursday meeting at the historic Bass House in downtown Brundidge.
John Ramage, Troy Bank & Trust’s EVP, was the club’s guest speaker and touched on the aspects of baking that are, perhaps, most interesting and beneficial.
The Rotarians took advantage of the opportunity to ask questions about banking in general. They expressed concerns about on-line baking, about the electronic banking and about fraud.
Ramage said, yes, fraud is real and he encouraged the Rotarians to stay vigilant and do as much banking electronically as possible.
Ramage said check usage is going down but, as it does, fraud is “skyrocketing.”
“Our President is working hard to get the banking industry up and moving again,” Ramage said. “We just have to be delight in our banking and ask questions when we have concerns.”
Congratulations were expressed to Ramage and his wife, Missy, who successfully co-chaired the ICBA PAC Auction last week in Nashville. Due to their dedication and hard work, they unveiled a record-breaking total on the main state during the event’s final general session.
