Troy University’s Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society elects new members

On Wednesday, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi announced the election of seven new members from the Troy University chapter.
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 in an effort to recognize excellence in all academic disciplines. The society has chapters on more than 300 campuses in the United States, its territories and the Philippines. Approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni are initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership.
The Troy University students elected as new members include Ashlyn Barnett, Emily Hyman, Jillian Friyia, Ryan Hardeman, Savanah Weed, Sydney Simmons and Trinity Ward.
