Sherry Burkhalter, quilter, teacher, author, designer, and owner of Quilted Creations in Headland will present Quilting and Lace: 100 Year Wiregrass Legacy, Saturday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama. 

Barbara Tatom, museum director, said Burkhalter will be in character as a Louisville native. Burkhakter will share legacy quilts dated 1870-1970. Participants are invited to bring quilts to share and/or to learn more.

A Pioneer Bonnet Keep class will be offered at 1 p.m. for pre- registered guests for $15, including all materials. 

Box lunches from Chicken Salad Chick may be ordered for $12. 

Those who plan to attend must pre-register for the class and lunch no later than 3:30 p.m. Friday 21.
