Win tickets to NWA Hard Times V in Dothan

NWA Wrestling is bringing its “Hard Times V” event to the Dothan Civic Center this Saturday, March 22, and The Messenger has received tickets to give away.
Any wrestling fans that wish to attend the event can get up to two free tickets by entering our contest on Facebook. Just follow our page and leave a comment under the post. Winners will be randomly selected to receive two free tickets on March 19 at noon.
This is the NWA’s third trip to Dothan after having last appeared back in December of 2024. The National Wrestling Alliance is owned and operated by Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan.
NWA Hard Times V will be taped to air on the NWA’s weekly “Powerrr” television show, which airs on YouTube and Twitter.
Former WWE and TNA Wrestling star Ethan Carter III will be in action at the event as well as three championship matches. The NWA World Tag Team Champions Knox and Murdoch will defend their championships against the the team The Slimeballz in a Ladder Match.
Also, the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Big Mama and Kenzie Paige defend against Miss Starr and Tiffany Nieves. Additionally, the NWA National Heavyweight Champion Mims will defend his title against Wrecking Ball Legursky.
Natalia Markova will face Kylie Paige with the winner earning a shot at the NWA World Women’s Championship, while Mike Mondo will face Max the Impaler in an inter-gender match. Also, the son of the legendary Ricky Morton – Kerry Morton – will team with his tag team partner Alex Taylor to face The Country Gentlemen and Baron Von Storm teams with Brandon Barretta to face the Temple of Duum.
In addition, Bryan Idol will face off against Silas Mason in one-on-one action and former TNA Wrestling star Crazzy Steve faces Damien Fenrir. In the main event, the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer will defend his championship against Carson Drake. Additionally, the finals of the Dane Memorial Heavyweight Tournament will be held with the winner earning a shot at the World Title. The tournament is named in honor of former NWA World Champion Jax Dane, who passed away in 2024.
In addition to all of the wrestling action, there will be a special meet and greet pier to the show starting and an autograph signing with wrestling Hall of Famer Barry Windham at 5:15 p.m. The cost for the Windham autograph signing is $30. Doors open for the event at 6 p.m. with bell time set for 7 p.m.
